From a Middle-Class Family to a Mission of Humanity
Muhammad Shehzad Younas belongs to a middle-class family. He completed his primary education at The Falcon School, Mardan, and his secondary education at Edwardes College, Peshawar. He is currently pursuing a degree in Banking and Finance.
Beyond his academic journey, Shehzad Younas has a strong passion for serving humanity, improving his community, and protecting the environment. He believes that true success is not measured only by personal achievements, but also by the positive difference one makes in the lives of others.
The Beginning of Chand Welfare Foundation
The history of Chand Welfare Foundation began on August 5, 2023.
The idea emerged when Muhammad Shehzad Younas witnessed the challenges facing his village, including poverty, an unclean environment, and the heartbreaking destruction of trees and forests. These conditions deeply affected him and made him realize that if no one took action today, future generations could inherit an unhealthy and environmentally damaged world.
Instead of simply complaining about these problems, he decided to take the initiative. He envisioned a platform that would bring people together, address local challenges, promote environmental protection, and create a better future for the community.
With this vision and a strong sense of responsibility, Chand Welfare Foundation (CWF) came into existence. Its mission is to serve humanity, protect nature, support vulnerable members of society, and bring positive change through collective efforts and self-help.
Our Key Initiatives and Areas of Work
Since its establishment, Chand Welfare Foundation has focused on several important areas of community development and public welfare.
Plantation and Environmental Protection
Promoting tree plantation, protecting forests, increasing green spaces, and raising environmental awareness. The foundation aims to build a greener community and protect the natural environment for future generations.
Cleanliness and Sanitation
Working to improve cleanliness, reduce pollution, and encourage responsible waste management so that people can live in a cleaner, healthier environment.
Street Lighting
Supporting the installation of streetlights in streets and public places to improve visibility, public safety, and the overall living conditions of the community.
Free Medical Camps
Organizing free medical camps and promoting health awareness to help people in need access essential healthcare services.
Security Cameras
Supporting the installation of security cameras at important public locations and main intersections to improve community safety and security.
Assistance for the Poor, Needy, and Orphans
Helping underprivileged families, needy individuals, and orphans while promoting compassion, dignity, equality, and social responsibility.

When I saw the problems facing my village, I realized that waiting for others to bring change would not be enough. We had to begin with ourselves.
